On El Salvador's national team since 2003
Compound, World Archery, October 2026
600/600 at the 2026 NFAA Indoor Nationals, 113 X
Gold, silver and bronze at regional Games since 2017

“Roberto Hernández, Miguel Véliz and Douglas Nolasco beat Mexico 237 to 233 in the final to give El Salvador the compound team gold.”

I have shot for El Salvador since 2003. Recurve took me to the Pan American Games and the London 2012 Olympic qualifier. Compound took me to the podium: silver in Barranquilla, bronze in San Salvador, silver in Guatemala and, in 2026, gold in Santo Domingo.
I live and train in North Texas, where I shoot for Cinnamon Creek Ranch. In 2026 I won the Texas state title, the NFAA Southern Sectional and the NFAA Indoor National Series, and shot a perfect 600 at the Indoor Nationals in Memphis.
What I teach is what I use in a final: a shot routine you can repeat when it matters, built on technique, not strength. From your first arrow to your first tournament, in English or Spanish.
Miguel Ángel Véliz
Every title and medal, verified in the official results of the NFAA, the Texas Field Archery Association and World Archery.
